    Hey Nirmal, thanks for the tip!
    However, that’s just file migration – does not really solve the problem of XP to 7…

    A real solution I know of is Zinstall. It automatically moves files, settings, applications, everything from XP to 7. You can actually work on 7 as if nothing have changed.
    You don’t have to do anything – it just works!

    Umm…Zinstall is $89!!! Are you kidding me? Ninety bucks?!?!

    I think I’ll try the free solution and just reinstall my apps.

    Reinstalling and reconfiguring takes at least a day. Alternatively, a tech costs $250 and half a day.

    I think your vacation day is worth more than $89.
    I know mine does.

    I bought Zinstall XP7 after reading the article and your comment and it fully migrated my old xp to Win7 – and everything keep working!
