Microsoft had released a technical preview of Office 2010 back in July for selected users and now they are ready to launch the beta version of Office 2010. You can start downloading the Office 2010 beta version very soon. Microsoft has also launched the new website for Office 2010 beta release. Although there is no exact date of availability on the website, it is expected to be available very soon and it could be mostly early next week.
Office 2010 beta comes in three versions- Office Home and Business 2010 Beta, Office Professional 2010 Beta, Office Professional Plus 2010 Beta. You can compare the different versions and applications available in the suite here.
Office 2010 Beta software is designed so that it will no longer function after October 31, 2010. So in case you are upgrading from Office 2007, then you will either need to reinstall older version after October 2010 or purchase a new license of 2010.

Hi,
Install worked great, all seems to work fine. I am impressed at the quality of the software, the quality programs MS has set up seem to be working.
One question though: How would you like to receive feedback? There is no option (I could find) to send feedback on the Beta (I already have a few improvement requests, like having your templates in direct access within the New section of backstage).
Regards,
