Search Engine Optimization is one important aspect to work on if you are looking to get traffic from search engines. SEO Analyzer is a simple and free desktop based application build specifically for page rank checking, link analysis and keyword analysis for SEO purpose. It is built using Adobe AIR technology and very easy to use. Once installed, you can enter the site for which you want to check the backlinks or you can add the keywords to check the ranking.
When you expand the backlinks, you can check the details of the site linking to your blog or website including the anchor tag and also the site PR. You can check the keyword ranking for your blog on Google, Yahoo and Bing.
The tool currently provides the following features:
- Get Google page rank for input site URL
- Get all backlinks to the input site URL
- Get the exact href tag (rel=”nofollow”, target=”blank”, etc) used by the back linking sites
- Get Google page rank for the back linking sites
- Get Google, yahoo and Bing ranking for the input site for keyword(s)

Thanks for posting this. I installed this simple application and ran it for a couple of my clients’ websites and it seems to work as described. It’s a simple tool that is not as fancy as some of the other solutions out there but it seems to work just fine for checking a website quickly.
