Su.pr WordPress Plugin for Posting to Twitter and Facebook

Su.pr is the new URL shortening service from StumbleUpon which is still by invite code. We had reviewed the features of Su.pr and also the integration with StumbleUpon. Su.pr has released a new plugin for WordPress which enables users to easily post links to Twitter and Facebook. So whenever you post any new article on your blog, they can be automatically shared on Twitter and Facebook. Check out our review of Su.pr.

The WordPress has some great customization options and allows you to open have an option to customize posts to Twitter or Facebook when a new blog post is added. Once installed and activated, you need to configure the settings of the plugin.

You have the option to either customize the Twitter posts or use the default settings for Twitter and Facebook. If you have opted for the first option in the settings “Display option to customize posts to Twitter or Facebook when I add a new blog”, then a new options box is available in Add/Edit post page.

Another great feature of this plugin is that you can host short URLs from your own domain (for example http://yourdomain.com/ABCD). Details on how to use your domain for short URLs are available here.
