Box.Net online service allows you to edit your word documents, tweak images or electronically sign PDFs within their browser using one of the many third-party services built into Box. Box.Net has launched another feature of converting document to speeches which means you can now listen to your online documents. This service is provided by iSpeech which is an an innovative text-to-speech tool that can convert your text documents. For this service, you need to first add the iSpeech service. Once added you can start converting you documents.

You will need to create a free account with iSpeech to get the document converted. The process of creating account is very simple and once created, you can login to start converting the documents.

You also have the option of saving the converted file as MP3 in your box account, this is done automatically by the service. Once the conversion is complete, you can see an MP3 version of the document in your account.

The quality of conversion was good when we checked the speech. Other services to convert documents to MP3 are Zoho or Daisy Add-on for Office 2007. More details available here.
