Ever since the first beta version of Windows 7 was released, we have seen many leaked builds of Windows 7 in torrents and other websites. Microsoft had confirmed that the RC was coming out in May 2009. Neowin has reported that the Windows 7 Release Candidate is ready and the build number is 7100. This build, 7100.0.winmain_win7rc.090421-1700 was compiled on Tuesday.

This build, 7100.0.winmain_win7rc.090421-1700 has been reportedly been handed out to OEM partners and TAP gold customers. Microsoft had recently published details that MSDN and TechNet subscribers would be receiving the RC build.

We are hoping that this build would be available to MSDN and TechNet subscribers next week. The public release of Windows 7 RC is expected to happen on May 5th.
