Bookmark Duplicate Detector (BookmarkDD) is a Firefox add-on which helps you to manage your bookmarks in Firefox by searching for duplicate bookmarks. Once installed, the add-on will detect when duplicate bookmark is added, specify where is the previous URL and give you an option to change the parent folder of duplicate bookmark. This add-on is useful if you have added lots of bookmarks to Firefox.
By default, the duplicate bookmarks will automatically delete duplicates which are in same folder. It is also possible to specify a default folder where all duplicates within it will be automatically deleted. This will make merging of two bookmarks easier.
When you encounter with duplicate bookmark, the add-on will ask if it needs to be added or not.
BookmarkDD is good option to search, detect and delete duplicate bookmarks in Firefox.
