Not sure what BSOD is, but my Norton 360 caused my CD drive to pop out continually, and it kept opening the backup window, and trying to backup, even though i had none scheduled. I installed AVG Premium (Trialpay) and everything now works fine.

@Vivek: I installed Norton 360 and it expired yesterday, never got BSOD, it was smooth and didn’t take that much resources…

I installed PC Tools Threatfire in Win 7 and it seems to work fine. I have not done a scan with Threatfire- only with Windows Defender. I am running it under the MS Virtual PC 2007 and it runs very slowly. I may install it in the Sun Virtual Box to see if it will perform better. (Virtual Box has better options.)
