There would be instances when you wanted to take a screenshot of your mobile phone. For taking screenshot, connect the phone using the USB cable and once connected, select the port from the port settings drop down. Click the button Connect and once the phone is connected to Display Reader, it shows the display size of the phone screen. We have connected W700i and the screen size is 176 X 220.

Once connected, navigate to the screen for which you want to take the phone screenshot and make sure that the phone is not going to sleep mode while taking screenshot. Click Read button and the screen currently selected on the phone is available in the Display Reader. Once the screenshot is loaded, then you can save it on your computer.

Display Reader is a very handy utility for taking screenshots for Java phone.

Oh, that’s a good one, but my phone is a SE S500i, and when I click “Read”, it’s a black screen which appears. Is it my phone which doesn’t run with Display reader, or is it my Windows Vista or my USB cable?
