Wordpress 2.7 Beta 1 Available

The first beta version of upcoming Wordpress 2.7 has been released and available for download. Wordpress 2.7 is bringing in new visual style for the dashboard and you can start testing it now. This design is almost completely implemented, but there are still a few areas where the team is working on. Wordpress 2.7 works perfectly with Firefox and Safari.

The final version will not be available as scheduled on Nov 10, but will arrive with a 2 weeks delay, but there could be a release candidate available on Nov 10. With the beta version, you can get familiarized with the new layout and feature before the final release.
