Microsoft is releasing a web based version of Office tools which can be accessed through the web browser. Microsoft has mentioned that it will deliver Office Web applications through Office Live. Microsoft hat darauf hingewiesen, dass es wird Office-Web-Anwendungen durch Office Live. There will be a private tech preview of Office Web applications starting later this year and users interested in participating will be able to sign up for the preview  from the Office Live Workspace site. With the release of Office web, Microsoft is finally giving tough competition to Google Docs, Zoho Office, and ThinkFree Office.
