Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 Launching September 30

After months of announcement and delays, Sony Ericsson’s much awaited phone XPERIA X1 will be available on September 30 2008. Sweden, Germany, and the UK will be the inaugural launch sites on September 30. Rest of the world will get XPERIA in October. On September 15 there will be a "live global webcast" hosted by Sony Ericsson. The event will bring an Xperia X1 in-depth demonstration. Sony Ericsson has launched  new website called Who is Johnny X, which will feature videos and trailers on XPERIA.

Here is the list of countries which will get XPERIA in the first slot.

Europe: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Hungary, Italy, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland;
Asia: Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam;
Middle East: Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and UAE;
Latin America: Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay;
Africa: South Africa.

Still there is no word on the pricing plans for XPERIA.
