It requires no installation on either end and all your client has to do is get a 6 digit number which they relay to you. I was a long-time user of LogMeIn Rescue, but that is ridiculously expensive these days

I tried logmein and couple of other services but i found TEAMVIEWER is the best and light on computer. several advantages in team viewer as its cross platform available for mac machines as well as portable version is also available so i always keep it on my USB pen drive and I can use it on any computer. It can use as file transfer unlike logmein free version. Give it a try.

LogMeIn is fantastic. I¡¯ve been using it regularly to access my home PC while I¡¯m out here. It works satisfactorily even on a slow 64Kbps line.

@Nicky, you will require your PC to be on and connected to the Internet in order to connect to it.

Before I used showmypc software from showmypc.com ..but this seems to have so many more options¡­ next time i will surely try this ..

LogMeIn works great. No problems getting through firewalls, routers, etc. but does need some setup. I will look at the others suggested here too, thanks.

I would also recommend Teamviewer. It?s simply the best tool for remote assistance. Offers much more flexibility and user friendliness as any other solution.
