Wordpress 2.6 is released and now available for download, almost one month ahead of schedule. Version 2.6 named “Tyner”, contains a number of new features that make WordPress a more powerful CMS. One of the major improvements over the last version is the tracking changes to every post and pages.
Major changes;
1. Tracking changes to posts and pages- With this feature, you can go back to any previous version of the post or page.
2. Press this bookmarklet is back in Wordpress 2.6
3. Turbo-speed your blogging with Google Gears
4. Theme previews before actually implementing the theme
Other features include;
- Find out the word count in your post.
- Image captions, so you can add sweet captions for your images.
- Bulk management of plugins.
- A completely revamped image control to allow for easier inserting, floating, and resizing. It’s now fully integrated with the WYSIWYG.
- Drag-and-drop reordering of Galleries.
- Plugin update notification bubble.
Man….another new version…..now we should upgrade after every month. Nirmal do u think that we should upgrade to this one or stick with 2.5.1? Any major problem with the previous version?

I recommend changing. The version change is a significant one. It it was 2.5.2, I would have recommend staying with the existing version.
