Facebook is launching its newly designed profile page to users next week. Users can start exploring the new profile during the week of July 14. One of the major changes is that the width of profile page has been increased on either sides. The Application menu has been moved to top and included in navigational menu as a drop down item.

Overall the new design is less cluttered and also much faster than the previous one. You can try out the new beta layout here.

Layout looks interesting, although I still don’t see it when I log into my account.

Unfortunately, Facebook still doesn’t allow your to change the layout / design on your profile page. Please sign this petition if you want more control over customizing your Facebook profile page:

The new layout is great. The only thing is I am having the same problem as “Rose”. When I log in, it’s not different for me. But it is for my mom. Why isn’t working for some but is for others?
