Hoe te om Vensters NT terug te stellen, het Wachtwoord van Admin van XP en van het Uitzicht

Ik gebruik nu wachtwoordorganisator. Het helpt me een om mijn wachtwoord te onthouden. Maar ik zal van uw uiteinde nota nemen voor het geval dat ik het nodig heb. Hopelijk niet

The only issue I have with tools that modify registry is that it is a big risk. You can render your system useless. But I guess it’s not much useful if you have forgotten your password and cannot login

In some cases this is most certainly true. Nevertheless, many system tools/utilities *do* modify the registry.
Forget about “tools” per se… *most* programs modify the registry, at the very least at install time.
It is not *what* is done, that one needs to worry about, so much as it is *why* it is done.
If the registry is used responsibly - no harm should result. The registry is intended to be modified. That’s precisely what it is there for.
In big enterprise environments the best way for password reset is self service solutions. From my personal experience I recommend a tool called desktop authority password self service.
This solution can really reduce an amount of password related calls to hepdesk staff saving a lot of money.
