I have downloaded windows password key 8.0. It is a very quick and useful utility for resetting passwords. It not only supports XP, 2000, and NT, I have personally tested it with Vista Home Premium and Ultimate. It works perfectly to reset any local user account to a blank password.

BTW, there is another good solution.

I have downloaded Windows Password Recovery Tool 3.0 . it not only supports XP, 2000, and NT, I have personally tested it with Vista Home Premium and Ultimate. It works perfectly to reset any local user account to a blank password. I Wrote it to an old 128mb USB flash drive do this. Booting up and clearing a password takes a minute or two works like a charm.

The experience that I fogot windows password happened to me a few weeks ago. My classmate recommend me to take use of Windows password reset 6.0 , which is very smart and just take me a short time to reset a newly password. it’s great!

I have a serious VISTA password issue that I need help with. I have two admin accounts on my laptop. One password has expired. In XP or NT platforms you must enter the expired password and then a new one. With VISTA, once it is expired you are locked out.
I attempted to logon as the other admin and change the password but VISTA (in its intelligence) says that you must verify ALL admins to change a password. Hard to do when the account you need to change is one of the admins.
Any thoughts or help? Thanks.

I currently do not have any spare cd’s on me, and have forgotton my user password to my admin account. I am currently using a limited account but am unable to do anything about resetting the password using a program to boot from disk. Is there any other way I can retrieve my password without using a floppy or cd? I have tried using the command prompt method with no luck, tried resetting the admin password by pressing F8 during start up with no luck, PLEASE HELP!!
