OpenMoko Neo FreeRunner Starts Shipping, Available in India

OpenMoko will start shipping its Linux based Neo Freerunner phone this weekend. If you have not heard about OpenMoko, it features an open hardware design, and a Linux-based operating system that users are free to modify. Previously, OpenMoko phones have been available only in limited quantities, mostly to open source mobile phone software developers. But now OpenMoko will be available to mass market. Currently OpenMoko will be shipping the Neo Freerunner phone to newly announced distributors, in Germany, France, UK and India.
