The Xperia is going to be mobile to have in 2008, and hopefully reinvent Windows Mobile. HTC has been doing some great things lately, the X1 wont be any different.

I have personally already joined a Xperia community, XperiaX1.net, a great starting place for those looking to get the phone.

When will this phone be available here at the philippines? I already asks some people at Sony Ericsson’s store and they told me different release dates (some said it will be here by the end of september while others said that by the end of december). It’s really confusing. I’ve been wanting to buy this fone ever since its first announcement.

It is one one of the highly antisipated releases this year.As a Soney Ericson addict my self I am very eagerd and awaiting its release. Now that I know of its features any one can say that it not going to be cheap .

I find the bottom portion of Xperia to be pirticularly unappealing with a big rectangular button in the centre surrounded by some zigzag shapes.

But as far as raw processing power goes, Xperia is totally awesome. This one is definitely going to be a winner in terms of functionality and performance.

@Kanak,
Reviewers are always behind Sony Ericsson to find out some mistakes, either they say there is no 3.5 mm Jack or they say the QWERTY key pad is not good,now XPERIA was a model which have got almost everything right for SE criticizers, still they will find out some crap -ve aspects.
Anyways I’ll be getting one in September if it comes to India.

Even though the phone looks good … I am finding it a bit bulky… one disadvantage of slide open phone is that you cant type the message or cant slide it out with one hand …
