How to Copy and Paste Files Faster with Mouse Click

Advertisements

TXmouse is a freeware application that will help you to copy and paste files faster in Windows, without going through CTRL +C and CTRL +V. This small utility does not require any installation. Simply copy it to the auto start folder located at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Autostart. You can use the software once you restart the PC.

Copying and pasting files can be done using the mouse. Mark any text and copy it to the clipboard with a click. A click on the centre button of the mouse or mouse wheel is sufficient to paste the content from the clip board.

This process works on all PCs as this application basically triggers the key combination CTRL+C and CTRL+V for any application. Another thing to look at is an X icon in the system tray. If it looks light red xm , TXMouse is ready to copy on mark. However, if you have manually copied any content to clipboard, the icon changes as soon as you move the mouse. The X flips and changes its hue, in other words “turns its back on you.” This means that copy-on-mark is temporarily off - until you paste the clipboard content with the middle button click.

If you want to remove TXMouse, you can do it by removing the exe file from the Autostart folder.
