One of the best features of Facebook is the support of lot of applications. Nowadays the support for instant messaging applications in Social sites is increasing. Windows Live Messenger is available in the form of widgets for adding to blogs and websites and now Windows Live messenger is available as an application in Facebook. With this application your friends can chat with you when they visit your profile. You can also chat with other friends who have installed this application.
1. Install the Windows Live Messenger application from here.
2. Login with your Windows Live ID.
3. The application is added to your profile and your friends can chat.
In case you use Windows Messenger, you can add me to your network from my profile.

Never knew about this one. I thought Facebook only has the Windows Live Messenger button application.
