How to Hide a Shared Folder in Windows Bagaimana Sembunyikan Shared Folder pada Windows
If you are connected to a network and you have shared some folder, then it is visible to all the users in the network. Jika Anda terhubung ke jaringan dan Anda telah dibagi beberapa folder, maka akan terlihat untuk semua pengguna dalam jaringan. But you can make the shared folders invisible . Tapi Anda bisa membuat shared folder kelihatan. Here is a simple trick to make shared folders invisible so that only known users can access the folder. Berikut ini adalah trik sederhana untuk membuat shared folder kelihatan hanya dikenal sehingga pengguna dapat mengakses folder.
1. 1. Navigate to the folder which is shared across the network. Arahkan ke folder yang dipakai bersama-sama di seluruh jaringan. Right click on the folder and select Rename. Klik kanan pada folder dan pilih Ubah nama.
2. 2. Add a ' $ ' to the end of the folder name (without the single quotes). Tambah '$' ke akhir nama folder (tanpa tanda kutip tunggal). For example if the folder name is Blogging , rename it to Blogging$ . Misalnya jika nama folder adalah Blogging, nama ke Blogging $.
3. 3. Now you can share the folder and people who know about the folder can use it. Sekarang Anda dapat berbagi folder dan orang-orang yang tahu tentang folder dapat menggunakannya.

hehehe … we used to use this trick in college to hide the movies folder. hehehe ... kita gunakan untuk menggunakan trik ini di perguruan tinggi untuk menyembunyikan folder film. Mostly like system drives are with default share with $ suffix ( like c$ , D$ etc). Seperti kebanyakan sistem drive adalah dengan berbagi dengan standar $ suffix (seperti c $, $ D, dll). however, if you use network scanner tools like netscan, you can see all the shared folders , even the one with $. Namun, jika Anda menggunakan perangkat jaringan seperti scanner netscan, Anda bisa melihat semua folder bersama, bahkan satu dengan $.
