Get Gmail Redesigned by Stylish Firefox Add-on and User Style

Most of us have already used Stylish Add-on for Firefox, which can load user styles for various pages while using Firefox. There is a new user script which can change the dull look of Gmail to a dark theme. This user script is called Gmail Redesigned. This user style gives a dark theme for Gmail users and the theme is designed by Globex Designs.

1. First install the Stylish Add-on for Firefox.

2. You will need to restart Firefox after that. Right click on the options, then add the style for Gmail. You can get the user Style from here. You can also install it directly from Gmail Redesigned page.

3. Now your Gmail inbox will have a Dark theme. This is supported in the new version of Gmail and Google Apps users.

  1. Is it just me or what? My Google Apps account has the newer GMail, but I’m stuck to the older version that I opened in 2005.

Are they punishing me just because I’ve been using it longer? ;)

If it was switched, I might have had a break from staring at a sickening pale blue theme :(

  2. It looks nice, some what polished design

  3. I am tempted to switch to FF after seeing this.

  4. Been using this for about two weeks now, since I first saw it on Lifehacker. Great skin - but if you install it, check for updates each and every single day, they keep rolling out improvements

  5. was planning to write a list of them.
Then, dropped the idea, coz many have done that already…
