Microsoft has started offering Free support to users of Vista SP1. Looks like Microsoft is very keen to have people using SP1 on Vista. Right now you can get free support vis Email, chat and phone. This Unlimited installation and compatibility support is available at no charge until March 18, 2009. The hours of Operation are
- Monday- Friday: 5:00 A.M. – 12:00 A.M. PST
- Saturday & Sunday: 6:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M. PST
Microsoft Vista SP1 Technical Support
I wonder creating a SP with size equal to an OS (win 2k is also around 400mb) , this was the much expected move from MS. I hope service pack doesnt add to vista woes.

I don’t see Vista SP1 available for manual download yet. However, I find it on my Windows Update.
Do you recommend upgrading? Been lazy to search around lately.
