Keeping a back up of data is required even if its your PC or mobile phone. Just like PC are volatile to virus attacks, so are mobile phones. Mobile phones memory can also get corrupted or get stolen and you lose all your data. SMS, phone numbers, personal videos and photos are all important to you and creating a back up will help to restore them in case you lose them in your mobile phone. MyPhoneExplorer is a free utility which can do this backup process of your phone. Download and install the software (3MB download size).
Once installed, you need to pair up your phone with PC either using USB cable or Bluetooth. The software will synchronize the phone with PC and show up all the contacts, messages and all your data in the phone. Go to the Extras menu and select Create backup.
You will get a backup wizard where you can select the items you want to include in the backup.
To restore back-up, select Restore backup from the extras menu. Apart from this, MyphoneExplorer can be used to call, messaging and copying pictures and other files to PC.
