Microsoft has released the final version of Windows Vista SP1 after a series of release candidates and test builds. SP1 can be downloaded from Microsoft download center. SP1 is available in 5 languages, English (US), French, German, Japanese, or Spanish (Traditional). SP1 addresses specific reliability and performance issues, supports new types of hardware, and adds support for several emerging standards.
The download size is around 434Mb.You can also upgrade it using Windows Update center. In case you are running a pre-release of SP1, then you need to uninstall it before installing this version.

Nirmal: If you tried SP1. If yes how Vista feels after SP1 installation in terms of performance stability etc. as compared to the past?

I have not tried the SP1, I’m waiting for the CD to be released in April
