Nokia 5310 music Xpress phone makes a foray into the lower segment of music phones. It has dedicated mucis chip and other features makes it a great competitor in multimedia phones. Nokia 5310 is just 9.9 mm thick and very much light weight. There are 2 color combination available- red/black and blue/black ones. 5310 has dedicated music keys at the side panels.
Nokia 5310 has a 2inch big screen which supports 16 milion colors. The keypads are also well placed and easy to use. 5310 features a 2MP camera at the back panel. Another thing to note is that this phone features a 3.5mm standard headphone jack.
On the peformacnce side, 5310 features a 32 MB RAM. The music player is simple and basic, but because of the presence of dedicated audio chip, the sound quality is good. It also has a 5 band equalizer, stereo widening and FM radio. The speakar has good volume and has deep bass and clear vocals. The phone supports microSD cards upto 4GB. The phone uses Symbian 40 series 3rd edition. Apart from these it also has bluetooth with A2DP support.
The phone also supports EDGE browsing and speed is pretty average. Transfer of files with USB is not much fast. The 2.0 MP camera has nothing much to boast of, it lacks flash and auto focus. The battery life is also a drawback of 5310 which is just an average performer.
Verdict: The sleek design and build makes it a good phone for music, but the if your preference is both music and camera, then this phone disappoints. Overall its a good phone formusic lovers considering its price.

Hi Friends
I brought this phone recently but it is giving me problems. the music stops quite often and the screen gets blank. Again when i try to continue playing music the music library gets updated which takes a lot of time. Can you guys tell me if this is a problem in your phones as well? how can i get rid of this problem.
I have the problem where my screen goes white and then resets the whole phone. I have also had four sets of earphones become broken while listening to music with this phone. I would not recommend this phone if you are going to use the music player somewhat often. Its way more trouble than its worth. I believe the phone breaks your earphones since all four sets of my headphones only play out of the right side. Suspicious eh?

hi…..when i insert more then 50 sings in my memory card it doesnt work and my phone becom white and get off but if i remove my card it works normaly… have also formated my card but its no use i even tryed new card but its also having same problem………..have also shown it to nokia priority showroom but when i add songs it s gone on same way …….can u pls help on this ……….
I had very bad experience withthis phone as Orange were unable to unlock it and wasted 10 hours to call them fom land line. Also the visible screen of this phone is not that great, there are about 5-6 mm margins on each side- don’t buy it
