Windows XP Tips: Reorganise Windows Folders Suggerimenti per Windows XP: riorganizzare le cartelle di Windows
Whenever you create a new user account in Windows , it creates a lot of folders like “ My Documents “, “ My Music ” etc. Most of the times when you save documents or download music or pictures, these are saved in these folders and all these data are stored in default drive of OS. Ogni volta che si crea un nuovo account utente in Windows, crea un sacco di cartelle come "Documenti", "Musica" ecc maggior parte delle volte quando si salva documenti o scaricare musica o immagini, queste vengono salvate in queste e tutte le cartelle questi dati sono memorizzati in unità predefinita del sistema operativo. In case Windows crashes and you need to re-install Windows, then you end up loosing all data. Nel caso di Windows si blocca ed è necessario re-installare Windows, quindi si finirà per perdere tutti i dati.
In order to keep data safe, you can reorganize your Windows folders. Al fine di mantenere sicuri i dati, è possibile riorganizzare le cartelle di Windows. Right click on My Documents and click properties. Fai clic destro sulla cartella Documenti, quindi fare clic su Proprietà. Select the target tab in properties. Selezionare la scheda di destinazione delle proprietà. Type in the desired location where you want to reorgaize data. Tipo nella posizione desiderata in cui si desidera reorgaize dati. Here I have given as drive E:\Backup . Qui mi hanno dato come unità E: \ Backup. Once you have enetered the path, click OK. Una volta che hai enetered il percorso, fare clic su OK. It will ask whether you want to move all data to new location and chose Yes. Essa vi chiederà se si desidera spostare tutti i dati di nuova posizione e scegliere Sì.
Now all the documents and files in My Documents would be moved to new location. Ora tutti i documenti e file nella cartella Documenti sarà spostato a nuova posizione. Whenever you save any new documents to My Documents, then these will be saved on the new path hence keeping you data safe. Thats a simple useful tip. Thats un semplice suggerimento utile. I have been manually copying every file to a similar folder these days. Mi è stato manualmente la copia di ogni file in una cartella simile in questi giorni. Like “E:/backup”. Come "E: / backup". this tip should save sometime for me definitely. questo suggerimento deve salvare qualche volta per me sicuramente.
when you save something after creating the backup folder will it save in both locations or it only saves in the new location? quando si salva qualcosa dopo aver creato la cartella di backup si salva in entrambe le sedi o solo salva nella nuova posizione?

Though I knew that the folder could be changed but never tried and thus never knew that it even moves existing files to other folder!
