Starting of 2008, Google had introduced new features to Google Docs. Google has announced more features to Docs. The features announced are more towards the presentation side. Now we have the option of saving your Google presentations as PDF files and also printing presentation based on PDF formats.
Todays addition are;
- Save as PDF, for when you need to download your presentation as a file.
- PDF-based printing options. Go to File->Print, select how many slides you’d like on a page (up to 12), and preview your choice.
- Vector shapes, for your basic diagramming and drawing needs. Use block arrows to point out what’s important, or say something in a call-out bubble.

I liked the vector shape feature…looks like google docs is evolving quickly
thanks to competition.
very welcome features…
The spreadsheet remains quite sad though..
@Shashank,
Right, its because of the competition.
@Rajesh Kumar,
Spreadsheet needs more features and even saving as ppt is not available.
Finally !! Have been waiting for some features like these! Thanks for the info!
G docs is getting better and better. That embed feature was my fav.
The vector shapes and the saving of slides as PDF is very exciting and to me it seems that Google docs has gone around the full circle where initially we were looking to take offline documents online but now it is taking online documents offline!
