I have always been a fan of Flock browser and its really a good browser with lot of features and great looks as well. The current version of Flock is 1.0 and it looks like Flock is going to add more features. Flock 1.1 will feature web email, Picasa and much more features.

Flock 1.1 will feature;

  • Web Mail – You can access Gmail and Yahoo! Mail with the click of a button and also can also share web pages, images, and articles just by clicking the email icon in the URL bar.
  • Friends Activity – Flock now aggregates your friends’ activity from various social networking services and displays it. This could be the easiest way ever to find out which friends have updated their profiles and other information.
  • Picasa – Flock already has support for Flickr photos and now Flock 1.1 will feature support for Picasa Web Albums, allowing you to upload images from Flock, share images via email, or browse through images using the media bar.

Flock 1.1 beta is scheduled for January end. Currently Flock is available as a free download for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

    It is nice to hear that the new version of Flock comes with new features like web mail and picasa. But I think this version of Flock (version 1.1)is not available on their site. Have any idea?
