The new Office 2007 has lots of features which are not available in previous versions of Office. O novo Office 2007 tem várias funcionalidades que não estão disponíveis em versões anteriores do Office. Office 2007 also has few new formats like .xlsx, .xltx, .xltm, .docx etc. If you are sharing documents, then there are chances that some of the features may not be available if the other user is not having or using Office 2007. O Office 2007 também tem poucos novos formatos como. Xlsx,. Xltx,. Xltm,. Docx etc Se você está compartilhando os documentos, então há chances de que algumas das funcionalidades poderão não estar disponíveis quando o outro usuário está usando o Office ou não ter 2007.
Office 2007 provides an option to check whether the new features are compatible with the older version of Office. Office 2007 oferece uma opção para verificar se os novos recursos sejam compatíveis com a versão mais antiga do Office. This is called compatibility checker. Esta é Checker chamado compatibilidade.
In order to check compatibility, click on the Office button on the top left hand corner-> Prepare-> Run Compatibility checker. A fim de verificar a compatibilidade, clique no botão Office no canto superior esquerdo canto-> Prepare-> Run Compatibility verificador.
Once this is run, it will show features not supported in earlier versions. Uma vez que este é executado, ele irá mostrar características que não são aceitos em versões anteriores.

You are right, many features are not supported in older versions, but they try to convert it to nearest possible feature. Você está certo, muitos recursos não são suportados em versões mais antigas, mas eles tentam convertê-lo para mais perto possível recurso.
