In my last post on Firefox extensions, I wrote about the top music extensions. Firefox extensions have always been useful, be it giving more features to Firefox or for unblocking websites. Here is a list of Top gaming extensions for Firefox.

Firefox Add ons

  • Pong Multiplayer: Pong is an online multi player game which allows you to play against different people around the world. It has fully customizable color schemes and sound effects and full 5 speed levels for the game. You can play the game with your mouse or keyboard.
  • Cards: Cards is a collection of patience  card games. Included in the add-on are: Aces Up, Black Widow, Canfield, Demon, Double Klondike, Double Solitaire, Grounds for Divorce, Fan, Forty Thieves, FreeCell, Golf, Gypsy, Klondike, Maze, Mod 3, Montana, Penguin, Pyramid, Regiment, Russian Solitaire, Sanibel, SeaHaven Towers, Simple Simon, Spider, TriPeaks, Union Square, Wasp, Whitehead, and Yukon.
  • Pacman: Pacman is a derivative of the 1980’s mega-classic arcade game, the Pacman.  The add-on for Firefox takes you back in the day by letting you chomp on pellets and eat fruit right in your browser window. You can use your keyboard to navigate the familiar ghost-ridden maze, you can ascend through the increasingly difficult boards just like in the original version.
  • Mines: Mines is classic game of Minesweeper recreated for Firefox. Includes several interesting variations, such as games with hexagonal rather than square tiles, games with multiple mines in some tiles, and an option to have the edge of the grid be free of mines.
  • Snake: Snake is a clone of popular Snake or Worm game. Try to eat as many red balls in the grid without crashing into a wall or, worse yet, your ever-growing snake’s body. This game was also available in few mobile phones.
  • Xultris: Xultris is a variant of the computer game classic Tetris. It can play the popular Tetris game right from your browser with all the features.
