Firefox has become the popular browser among tech- bloggers because of the customizations available for it with Add-ons. In this post I’m focusing on the top music extensions for Firefox.

Fire Fox Add-on

1. FoxyTunes: FoxyTunes lets you control almost any media player and find lyrics, covers, videos, bios and much more with a click right from your browser. It supports WinAmp, iTunes, Yahoo Music Engine, Pandora, foobar2000, Windows Media Player, Xbox Media Center, Musicmatch, Quintessential, J. River, jetAudio, XMPlay, MediaMonkey, Media Player Classic, Sonique, wxMusik, Real Player, XMMS, Noatun, Juk, Amarok, Music Player Daemon, Rhythmbox and many other players.

2. Online Music Player: OMusic, the Online-Music-Player, it is a music player in status-bar. It provides firefox with ability to play online mp3 music(local file as well), to search and display the lyrics automatically, as well as to manage the music lists.

3. Yahoo Music Player Plugin: Yahoo Music Player plugin enables streaming of full-length tracks with the Yahoo! Music Player. It works with Yahoo! Music web playlists, but full-length playback may not be available on other pages of Yahoo! Music at present. You need to have a subscription to Yahoo! Music to listen to tunes from Yahoo.

4. Video Downloader: Video Downloader enables you to download videos from Youtube, Google, Metacafe, iFilm, Dailymotion and other 60+ video sites ! And all embedded objects on a webpage (movies, mp3s, flash, quicktime) .   1. Good list. FoxyTunes rocks, and it’s the best of all. It’s got loads of options, and supports most media players. And with TwittyTunes, it’s even better :D
