Windows Live Translator is Microsoft’s latest from in the Live products (currently in beta) which lets you translate text from English to German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and Russian, and vice versa.

Windows Live

You can either convert text upto 500 words or convert a web page as a whole. Google is already having a translator, which is having more language options and it seems like Microsoft is stepping into areas where Google has a product. Recently Microsoft had launched the Unified installer for Live products.

Live translator looks good especially in the UI which is much better than that of Google. We can see more of Live products in the near future.
