3 Improvements for Blogger and Wordpress.com 3 Blogger per miglioramenti e Wordpress.com
There has been lot of debate among bloggers on which is the best free blogging platform. Vi è stata molta discussione tra i blogger sul quale è la migliore piattaforma di blog gratuito. Wordpress.com and Blogger stands out as they have lot of features compared to others. Wordpress.com e Blogger spicca come hanno molte funzionalità rispetto ad altri. Here I’m not going to debate which is better because both has its own advantages and disadvantages. Qui non sto andando al dibattito che è migliore perché entrambi ha i propri vantaggi e svantaggi. I’m listing down 3 features which I would like to add/improve in Blogger and Wordpress.com. Sono quotazione in giù 3 caratteristiche che vorrei aggiungere / migliorare in Blogger e Wordpress.com.
1. 1. Blogger: Blogger:
- Comment form: Blogger has a very bad commenting system. Commenti forma: Blogger ha un pessimo sistema di commento. I should say that its commenting system always discourages readers to express their opinions. Devo dire che il suo sistema di commento semper scoraggia i lettori di esprimere le proprie opinioni.
- Ability to create pages and categories: Another feature sadly missing in Blogger is the ability to create pages like contact, about etc and also categories. Capacità di creare pagine e le categorie: Un'altra caratteristica purtroppo manca in Blogger è la possibilità di creare pagine come il contatto, a circa etc e anche le categorie. Currently only labels are allowed in Blogger. Attualmente solo le etichette sono ammessi in Blogger.
- Better trackbacks integration: Most of the blogging platforms support trackbacks from other blogs, again a feature missing in Blogger. TrackBacks migliore integrazione: la maggior parte delle piattaforme di blogging sostegno TrackBacks da altri blog, ancora una volta una funzionalità mancante in Blogger.
2. 2. Wordpress.com Wordpress.com
- Advertisement Support: Advertisement are not allowed in Wordpress.com blogs, this is a great drawback as many of the bloggers want to make some money online through their blog posts. - Theme Editing: Although Wordpress has better themes when compared to Blogger, the fact that editing themes is not allowed makes Blogger superior in this aspect. Editing can be done in WP blogs also. Modifica può essere fatto in gruppo anche i blog. But we need to pay some $$ for that. Ma abbiamo bisogno di pagare alcune $ $ per questo. I fully agree to your point that its better to get own domain and hosting instead of spreding $$ on editing the theme. I know the fact that editing can be done in WP blogs by spending some $, but then it wont have the concept of free blogging. So che il fatto che la modifica può essere fatto in WP blog di spesa da alcuni $, ma poi ha il solito concetto di libero bloggare.

I have used Blogger and Wordpress.com blogs before I shifted to own domain. Ho usato Blogger e Wordpress.com blog prima che io spostato al proprio dominio. The ONLY thing i hate in Blogger is the commenting system. L'unica cosa che odio di Blogger è il sistema di commento. Regarding templates, since the launch of New Blogger we have seen several wordpress themes ported to blogger. Per quanto riguarda i modelli, dal momento che il lancio della nuova versione di Blogger abbiamo visto diversi wordpress temi portati a Blogger. This means Blogger does support dynamic themes, and people have started creating such themes for blogger platform. Ciò significa che Blogger non sostegno dinamico temi, e le persone hanno iniziato la creazione di tali temi per piattaforma Blogger. Apart from that, blogger provides a high level of customization. Oltre a questo, blogger fornisce un elevato livello di personalizzazione. I’m not against wordpress, but blogger will soon leave wordpress biting dirt. I would say Blogger’s comment system makes it almost unusable. Vorrei dire di Blogger commento sistema rende quasi inutilizzabile. It certainly wouldn’t be usable if it had a cost associated with it. Certamente non sarebbe utilizzabile se fosse un costo associato con esso.

Infact as far as i remember i’ve seen more than 50 wordpress themes ported to blogger. Infatti, per quanto mi ricordo che ho visto più di 50 wordpress temi portati a Blogger. The best thing being that blogger lets you customize them in whatever way you want. La cosa migliore è che Blogger ti consente di personalizzare in qualunque modo desiderato.

Today, 6 months after started blogging on a daily basis, my advice to every every new blogger is that for innumerable reasons free blogs are a big no-no, and setting up your blog on a paid server is the best decision you can make in the early stages (Nirmal and Shankar, i believe you concur…) Oggi, 6 mesi dopo ha iniziato a bloggare su base giornaliera, il mio consiglio a tutti ogni nuova versione di Blogger è che per innumerevoli ragioni libero blog sono una grande no-no, e la creazione di blog su un server pagato è la migliore decisione che si può fare in prime fasi (Nirmal e Shankar, a mio avviso è d'accordo su quanto ...)

Blogger commenting system is useless. Blogger sistema di commento è inutile.
Wordpress.com is not allowing ads and external scripts for security i guess. Wordpress.com non consente annunci e script esterni di sicurezza per i indovinare. If they ever allow ads then we will see splogs in wordpress.com also. Se mai permettere che gli annunci poi vedremo splogs anche in wordpress.com.

Yeah, the major draw-back of WordPress is that it doesn’t allow the bloggers to add ads. Sì, i grandi trarre-back di WordPress è che non consentono il blogger per aggiungere annunci.
I use Blogger, and yes I have also felt the need for the Category feature. Io uso di Blogger, e sì che ho anche sentito il bisogno per la categoria funzionalità. But you can take care of that by using tags as categories. Ma si può prendere cura di questo tag utilizzando come categorie.
I am not much aware of free hosting of wordpress, but i can say commenting of blogger really sucks big time. Io non sono molto consapevoli di hosting gratuito di wordpress, ma posso dire di Blogger commentando davvero succhia il tempo grande. So many times , coz of that bugging pop up interface. Tante volte, coz che bugging di pop-up interfaccia. Second coz of the time it takes to appear on the blog and third coz of those highly unreadable captcha image spam protection. Coz seconda del tempo a comparire sul blog e terzo coz di quelli altamente illeggibile captcha immagine protezione anti-spam. So many times i wanted to comment on some posts but coz of such bad commenting option pulled me off. Tante volte ho voluto commentare alcuni posti, ma coz di tali cattivi commentando opzione tirato fuori di me.
