I checked my code for scripts which were running inside the body tag and was a direct child to it. Then I moved all my Javascript codes to bottom of the body tag so that it will not interfere while parsing the page. It may be due to the fact that proxies may be blocking scripts, so it may not show the error. Pode ser devido ao fato de proxies pode estar bloqueando scripts, assim ele pode não mostrar o erro.

Getting this as well when logging ONTO GMAIL. Bem como Getting presente ao fazer login PARA O GMAIL. A single reload usually does fix it, but sometimes even reloading doesn’t work. Uma única recarga normalmente faz corrigi-lo, mas às vezes até de recarga não funciona.
Since I have no control over Gmail code, telling me to mess with the body tag is NOT an option. Desde que eu não tenho controle sobre o Gmail código, me dizendo que sujar a etiqueta com o corpo não é uma opção.
Also, unfortunately using a different browser is NOT an option for me since my employer relies heavily on MS technology. Também, infelizmente usar um outro navegador NÃO é uma opção para mim desde a minha entidade patronal está fortemente dependente das tecnologias MS.
That being said, I should also point out that I NEVER installed anything google (API or otherwise) on any of my machines, so I don’t see how the google API fix will solve anything. I have both IE and Firefox but I like IE because it displays web pages very nicely. Eu tenho o IE e Firefox mas eu gosto IE porque ele exibe páginas muito bem.

i am also getting the same problem when i log in to gmail using IE7. I had this error where in the onmouseover event of elements on my page was code referencing other elements by ID. The FLV Video was loading and working 100% fine on Firefox. O vídeo foi FLV carga de trabalho e de 100% multa sobre o Firefox.
but it wouldnt load on IE! mas ele wouldnt carga no IE!
When i added the defer=”defer” something else would stop working. Quando adicionadas ao adiar i = "adiar" mais alguma coisa iria parar de funcionar.
The window.addEvent(’domready’ and ‘load’) did not work… O window.addEvent ( 'domready' e 'carregar') não funcionou ...
anyhow, nothing worked! qualquer modo, nada funcionou!

Probably it is happening due to sitemeter code which you are using in your footer. Provavelmente isso acontece devido a Sitemeter código que você está utilizando em seu rodapé. I was also using the same and getting the error, now I have removed the sitemeter code. Eu estava usando o mesmo e também a receber o erro, agora eu tenha removido o código Sitemeter. My blog abhisays.com is now working fine in IE 6. O meu blog trabalhar abhisays.com agora está tudo em ordem IE 6.

So annoying this problem. Tão chato esse problema. I just noticed this same thing happening on my site. Eu notei essa mesma coisa acontece no meu site. Your site by the way still has the same error in microsoft explorer. Seu site ainda pela forma como tem o mesmo erro no Microsoft Explorer. Same horrible error. Mesmo erro terrível. ugh! I have found nothing that fixes this yet. Tenho encontrado nada que fixa esse ainda. Yea Sitemeter was causing the issue. Yea Sitemeter estava causando o problema. I think HTML version will solve the problem. Acho versão HTML irá resolver o problema.

To everybody who started getting this error just yesterday or today, check to see if your website is using the tracking software Sitemeter. Para todos que esse erro começou a ficar ainda ontem ou hoje, verifique se o site está utilizando o software de rastreamento Sitemeter. Their javascript version is now dishing out this error to every IE users and it’s hit big sites such as Mashable and Perez Hilton among thousands of others. Javascript sua versão está agora fora dishing esse erro para todos os usuários IE e é atingido grandes sites como o Mashable e Perez Hilton entre milhares de outros. To fix it, simply remove the tracking code altogether or switch to their plain HTML version. Para corrigi-lo, basta remover o código de monitoramento totalmente ou mudar para sua versão HTML simples.

I added the defer=”defer” code to my Javascripts, which fixed the IE not loading issue, but the fix turned off all the scripts! Eu adicionei o adiamento = "adiar" a minha código Javascript, que fixa o IE não carrega questão, a corrigir desactivada, mas todos os scripts! It’s not 100% effective for me. Just to say, if anyone is still having this problem and using maps.google.com, have a look at the google api version the url is referencing. Having developed an app to run as application/xml+xhtml in Firefox, I needed to back-port it so it also runs in IE. Self-closing divs are allowed in XHTML 1.1 when served as application/xml+xhtml, but IE chokes when it sees those when served as text/html. Auto-fechamento divs são permitidos em XHTML 1.1, quando atuou como application / xml + xhtml, IE, mas engasga quando se vê aqueles quando atuou como texto / html.
if you’re having this problem, check for any unusual self-closed tags (). Se você estiver com esse problema, verifique se uma invulgar fechadas auto-tags ().

the problem can also occur if you use a ‘domready’ in a window.addevent. o problema também pode ocorrer se você usar um 'domready' num window.addevent. Try using ‘load’ instead. Tente usar o 'carregar' em seu lugar.
