Robyn Tippins, who was recently hired as the MyBlogLog community manager has revealed several major changes for MyBlogLog.
This effort is to remove offensive photos, remove certain types of sites and make it more corporate friendly. There are several changes proposed;
- Major change will be a rebranding of MyBlogLog. The exact timing for this and details of new brand were not revealed.
- A complete site redesign.
- MyBlogLog widget to get a change, “Widget 2.0? is coming with some hover features.
- Yahoo! is working hard at removing the offensive photos and avatars so that it will have a corporate look.
- Some method to turn off your presence for some types of sites will be added.
MyBlogLog is really popular community in the blogosphere and it seems Yahoo is committed to making these changes to keep it better.

If you see the current mybloglog, there are lot of offensive pictures for avatars and community images. These used to attract more people to their blogs. This is a good move to prevent all these.
