While using images in blogs, often we may want the image it be in .jpeg format as most of the other formats like .bmp occupy more space.

Image Converter is a small utility software which It opens 34 and saves to 19 image file types. Once installed the software adds a shell extension to Windows Explorer menu. When you want to convert an image, right click on image and you can see the options to convert the image as well as a thumbnail of this image. You can select many images as well. In this case you won’t see thumbnail, but still will be able to convert all selected images.

Converter

This converter is supported in Windows 95, 98, ME, NT,2000, XP, not sure about Vista. The only disadvantage of this software is that its not a freeware. Although you can convert any number of images in the freeware, a logo will appear in the converted images.

The free version can be downloaded from here.
