Blogging Toolkit is a set of tools and and softwares that a blogger uses to manage, publicize, monetize and optimize his blog. A blogging toolkit is needed by a blogger for generating traffic, gaining popularity and running a full featured blog.
Sizlopedia has tagged me to reveal my blogging toolkit and here I shall write about my blogging kit.
1. Blogging Platform
Wordpress is the blogging platform and I have been using it only for less than a month. I had shifted to Wordpress from Blogger when my blog was moved to own domain. I feel that Wordpress is one of the best blogging softwares available today.
2. Blogging Client
I use Wordpress Rich Text Editor to write my blog posts. Its auto saves feature is really good one and also has full rich text features. It also has code switching ability and the best of all to add custom fields.
Google Analytics is a free service by Google and is one of the best ways to monitor website statistics. I also use Sitemeter to get the visitor count to my blog.
4. Blog Promotion and Feeds
I use Feedburner when it comes to monetizin, publicizing and optimizing your blog feeds and also Technorati.
5. Browser
Not basically a part of the blogging toolkit but still important in many aspects. Firefox is my first and final choice and I assume would be the choice to every blogger on earth with its ability to tab through different pages quickly.
6. Graphics and Images
I don’t have much to do with images, but I still use Adobe Photoshop to edit my images and graphics.
I tag BlueFlux, Web 2.0, Shanker, Serendipity
Technorati tags: BloggingTools
