Few Blog Statistics from Technorati

Yesterday I was reading the Technorati Weblog and came across few statistics regarding blogs. Here is it;

1. Over 70 million weblogs are tracked by Technorati.
2. More than 120k blogs are added to blogosphere each day. That’s about 1.4 blogs created every second of every day.
3. Technorati has been tracking 3000-7000 spam blogs (splogs) each day.
4. On an average, Technorati tracks 1.4 million posts per day, that around 15 posts per second.
5. Out of the top 100 sites, only 22 are tracked by Technorati.
6. In terms of blog posts by language, Japanese is at the top spot with 37% followed closely by English at 36%.
