How to blog when you are busy
ADVERTISEMENTSHere is a simple trick to blog even when you are busy, but this applies for only Wordpress users. This trick may be well known to all, but just posting it again in case anyone not using it.
Whenever you have enough time to blog create as many entires as possible in your Wordpress editor and while publishing the entry, change the time stamp of the entry to a future date and time.
So if you publish an entry for a future date, it will be visible in your blog only at the time and date selected. This will give visitors something new to read everyday. ![]()
I’m not sure whether this will work on other blogging platforms.

I’ve never done this before even though I know about this feature. The thing is I’m never busy.. atleast when I’m blogging.

I do the same. Except when I am blogging about something fresh on the news or something that needs to be blogged about right away.
This is a good way to blog though and I think everyone should blog this way. It’s not everyday when I feel like blogging. However I do believe that everyday should have at least a new post on the blog. So whenever I am blogging I keep at least few blogs written and handy for the day on which I am not blogging. This prevents me from rushing into writing a post just for the sake of blogging and loosing quality.

I mostly use this technique for pushing affiliate links and non-immediate posts. It’s a great way to provide fresh content while also making sure that you’re not scurrying for something to post about.
One thing I recommend is keeping an eye on the least popular times that visitors hit your site. If you see a trend for lots of visitors mid-day then you might consider scheduling posts a bit earlier. If your lucky you may grab some extra early readers who are browsing through Technorati and Google Blog Search during that time of day.
It’s a nice way to beef up your unique visitors and pageviews during typically low traffic times.

Any way I am sad right now I don’t have enough money flowing from net that can support a hosting, so no WP and hence it is of use to others like you…

Hi there,
Previously I was using Event plugin to push the future posts.
Now I’m also using this method to post the future posts… except that you must ensure it comes out with the right info and right time.
