Its time for pack-up, Team India

ADVERTISEMENTS

Its time for Team India or the Men in Blues to pack up back to India. With yesterdays defeat they are literally out of ICC World Cup. Now their fate lies on the Bangladesh-Bermuda match and Bermuda should beat Bangladesh for India to qualify for the next round and this is literally impossible.

This ICC WC has been the center of talk with lot of things happening. Pakistan and India losing to minnows, then came the murder of Bob Woolmer and then India and Pakistan out of world cup in the first round. This is after a long time India is knocked out in the first round of World cup.

From the number of commercials the Indian cricketers have acted, it seems that they didnt get enough time for match practice in between the busy commercial shooting schedules. They have acted in all sorts of commercials right from biscuits, cola, energy drinks etc etc..( If I start listing all those, this post would become a long story  )

Cricket in India is like a religion and people are crazy for Cricket. With so much expectations from the team, it will be a huge disappointment for the cricket savvy fans. Now that India is literally out of world cup, many of the senior players, including coach, future hangs in balance.

  6. @Rajesh,
This is really cool alternative if BCCI and PCB can think of some thing like this.

  7. HI Nirmal..
Now as the indian cricket team is out of world cup, its the most common topic discussed every where. But dont you think its becoming crossing the limit.
B4 pin pointing at the Indian cricket team, just turn back and see how much they have contributed in the past years. I think its unfair to praise someone when they are at thier best and scramble them wen they lose at some point of time.. The Indian crickters are also human beings….
this time Indian performed very badly…but it doesnt mean that we should frame them in such a pathetic manner..

I totally agree with you on the fact that when they are winning we all praise them and when they re losing we curse them. But my point is that the people who loved Indian cricket have lost faith in the Indian team. The point is if they cant even beat Bangladesh, then y go for the world cup?
People get more irritated when they see the cricketers shining in all the advts in TV, but fail to perform in the ground.
I think, its time to make a major change in the Indian team.

  9. Just one Qstn…
Wat do u think abt cricket? is it a game??? or some fight???? if its a game ..i think one team has to lose..As you mentioned “The point is if they cant even beat Bangladesh”..wats wrong with Bangladesh????They are also hardworking cricket team who reached here through thier hard work and luck..
If you are linking your patriotism with cricket link it in the true spirit..
If cricket is a religion in India..Its a group of Indians problem..not the Indian crickters  I m not blaming anybody neither am I supporting Indian Cricket team .I agree that they had a pathetic performance in the world cup.but remember they are “humans” and cricket”Players” who represent India. We dont have any rite to treat them so badly and go to the limit of even abuse thier family members
who have nothing to do with loss of Indian cricket team.

  10. @Sowmia
I was just talking about the performance of Indian team and I agree to your point that we have no right to abuse them or their family..
Anyways lets hope they will bring the cup next time :-)
