Some Things to Cheer About

Last weekend I went home mainly for 2 purposes, one being my sister’s birthday on 8th Feb. I have purchased a gift for her-Brand new Sony Ericsson z710i (Read my review of the phone here). Soon after I reached there I handed over the gifts, the mobile was fully covered in gift wrapper and in the wildest of dreams she never imagined that it would be a mobile phone. Once she opened the gift she was really shocked to see the gift and she was really happy about the gift. It had been quite a time since she was asking about purchasing a new mobile, so I decided to get it for her birthday and it was the best gift I could get for her. The gift also contained a dress which was purchased from Mangalore.

The second reason for going home was the starting of construction of our new house at Maradu (5-6 km from Kochi). By 10.00 am the contractor, whom we had given the construction of house, came to out house to discuss about the happenings and update about the details. We also made a few changes to the plan.

Afternoon I had a good nap since the last night I didn’t have much sleep in the train. By evening around 5.30 pm we decided to go to construction site. The outside boundaries of the house were earmarked and the digging of well was completed. After monitoring the construction activities we went straight to city for some shopping. We returned home by 10.00 pm.

Next day being a Sunday I decided to stay home and did some browsing and also watched the movie Casino Royale, the latest Bond flick. In between I also watched the India-SL match and I need not say the pathetic display of batting by Indian middle order.

I returned to Mangalore by 8.00 pm and reached here by around 7.00 am. Last one week has been really good for me both in terms of life and work. Everything seems to be working out fine now. And most importantly……….
