R & D on blogger templates

For past few days, I have been intensively blogging. Last week I was quite free, so decided to explore blogger and do so blogging also. First thing I wanted to do was to change my existing template. I googled for free templates, but I couldn’t find anything attractive. My friend suggested me few sites which provided templates for free. Although I found a few ones interesting, I didn’t change my template as I had already done changes to my template. So instead of changing it I thought of doing some modification to existing one. I visited a few blogs and also got help from Google Blog group. Some of the changes I made to my blog are

• Changed all the basic colors of the templates
• Removed the nav bar from the top
• Added a Meebo msger to the blog
• Changed all the fonts, size and colors
• Added a shout box
• Listed my blog in Technorati
• Categorized my posts
• Also added cluster maps
